Gazebo II

The footage that makes up Gazebo II was shot exclusively on February 8 2012, for my earlier video Gazebo. Beginning one year after the original video screened, I have been making additional edits to this film every 24 days—a timeframe that is meant to reference the 24-hour timeframe of the original story. The edited sequence is then added on to the footage from earlier months, forever increasing the duration of the timeline.
The repetitive nature of the words and loops and the seemingly endless duration of these edits signifies a feeling of being stuck, both inside a single room like the characters, and also in the time space of an argument.
