We Tell Each Other Stories In Order To Live is the first of a series of work dealing with issues of truth, performance and affect. Through the translation of text, including movie scripts and personal memoirs, actors and actresses re-enact various scenes, often in the form of first-person narratives.

Language as a means of communicating emotion and/or experience is enforced by single words and themes that are repeated among the different stories. Their sounds, following by its symbolic meanings, come to the forefront¬† in the film’s reductive setting.
