RE: FAMILY
Found Photographs
Re: Family is a project that explores ideas of family, the archive, language and the internet.
This project compares the organization of family photographs from the time of print to digital. The physical archival prints are paired in a way that is meant to create potential narratives, key to contextualizing a family’s history. In the age of the internet, where images are seen by an audience that extends beyond the immediate family subjects, the primary method of organization is via non-sentimental symbols such as hashtags and keywords.
