Gazebo
2015-Present
Digital Video Installation with Sound
Gazebo is a life-long video project that is edited every 24 days. The endless cycle of edits is meant to mimic the form of an argument, which is the basis of the film’s narrative. The film follows a single 24-hour period in which a couple—who together manage a building of motel suites—argue over a continuous affair that the male protagonist, Duane, had with one of the hotel maids.
The video is presented as a continuous loop with a current run-time time of 12 hours and 54 minutes.
